Nicaragua promotes technology in the region

Nicaragua installed Central America's first broadband technology center in Manuagua.
The center will give training to some 12,000 telecoms professionals in the region, and is financed by the South Korean and Nicaraguan governments, as well as the Inter-American Development Bank, IDB.
Broadband technology can contribute to economic growth and social inclusion in the region, the IDB said.
