Nicaragua's poverty gap is growing ever wider

If per capita income continues to grow at 2.8 percent in Nicaragua it will take 70 years to reach that of Costa Rica right now.

But each year the gap gets wider.

Last year per capita income grew by $70 percent last year in Nicaragua but $800 in Costa Rica.
