Nicaraguan crisis hits commerce throughout region

In Central America, exporters, importers and transporters are reporting a slump in sales and transport costas as a result of the crisis in Nicaragua.

Worst hit is trade in fresh produce, where storage and refrigeration costs have risen sharply.
