Nicaraguan exports surge by 20 percent

Nicaragua could end the year with $2.8 billion in exports, and next year with $3 billion, according to the country's private sector.
The figures show an increase of almost 20 percent compared to last year's exports, according to the country's exports authority, known as Cetrex.
Nicaragua's main products are coffee, gold and beef, while its main markets are the United States, Venezuela, Canada and El Salvador.
