NII Holdings signs accord with Intelfon for international services in El Salvador

NII Holdings, a provider of mobile communication services operating under the Nextel brand in Latin America, announced an agreement with Intelfon, operating under the Red brand, in El Salvador to extend its International Direct Connect service.

 

International Direct Connect is an extension of NII's push-to-talk service.

 

With the launch of this service, Intelfon subscribers in El Salvador and approximately 7.7 million of Nextel's subscribers in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Peru will be able to communicate instantly across national borders.
