Not all Guatemalan protesters have good intentions

The protest movement is a major development for Guatemala, which for too long has suffered from a political class above the law. Yet not all elements within the broad-based anticorruption movement have the same agenda.
Some want to use this moment to generate a crisis, shred the constitution, cancel the Sept. 6 presidential and congressional elections and take power for themselves.
