Not even peace makes Colombia approve of Santos

In spite of the announcement of a historic peace deal with leftist FARC rebels, the urban approval rating of Colombia President Juan Manuel Santos dropped, according to the latest Gallup poll.

While Santos could still count on the approval of 30 percent of the inhabitants of Colombia’s five biggest cities at the end of July, by the end of August this had slipped back to 29 percent.
