Panama backs Odebrecht contract for Metro

 

The government of Panama confirmed the $1.9 billion contract for the construction of the second line of the capital’s Metro system to a consortium of Brazil’s Odebrecht and Spain’s FCC.

Doubts had arisen following judicial inquiries in Brazil into accusations of corruption by Odebrecht.
