Panama chamber rejects use of Canal revenue

Panama’s Chamber of Commerce has rejected the idea of using funds from the Panama Canal to finance Social Security programs that are facing shortfalls.

"We cannot continue considering the Canal as the solution to all the problems of the country,” said in response to politicians’ pleas to use Canal funds.
