Panama flouts money laundering probe request

Brazilian prosecutor’s have pulled back the veil of secrecy surrounding requests for assistance from Panama in money laundering investigations involving construction company Odebrecht and local banks.

The Brazilian company has received billions of dollars in contracts from successive Panama governments including more than $2.5 billion from the Varela administration.
