Panama mortage loans drop by 13 percent

Mortgage loans in Panama amounted to $13.9 million, 13.4 percent more than the $12.3 million in the same period of last year.

According to Elisa Suárez, director of the National Council of Housing Promoters (Convivienda), this slowdown is because there are new projects and while others could not continue or start due to issues with the paperwork required.
