Panama's economy grew by 5.2 percent

Panama’s gross domestic product increased 5.2 percent in the second quarter representing $450.7 million compared with the same period last year.
One of the most notable increases was financial intermediation with 9 percent due to the performance recorded in the International Banking Center, followed by mining activity and construction which both grew by 8.8 percent.
