Panama's economy to be worth more than $70 billion next year

The value of goods and services sod in Panama next year is expected to reach close on $71 billion, the Economy Ministry reports.
"This will reflect growth in real terms of 5.9 percent, a figure already pencilled in to the government accounts for nest year," said Economy minister Eyda Varela.
Varela said the biggest motors of growth will be Panama's logistics hub and the Panama de Cobre copper mine due to be launched next year by Canada's Quantum Minerals.
