Panama's meat producers waiting to export to U.S.

Panama's meat producers are still waiting to start exporting to the U.S., despite both countries signing a trade promotion agreement a year ago.
The obstacle is due to lack of traceability measures, a system used to gather data from the moment each animal used for meat is born until the final product reaches consumers.
But both countries are moving towards solving the issue, after a law project establishing agricultural traceability was signed in October last year.
