Panama to lead economic growth in 2014: ECLAC

The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, ECLAC, lowered its growth forecast for the region to 2.7 percent this year, down from a previous estimate of 3.2 percent in December last year.
Panama will lead growth for Latin America, with a forecast of 7 percent.
Nicaragua is seen growing 5 percent, Colombia 4.5 percent, Costa Rica 4 percent, Guatemala 3.5 percent, while Honduras and Mexico are both expected to grow 3 percent.
