Price tag on Colombia peace may exceed $100 billion

The implementation of an eventual peace deal between Colombia’s FARC rebel group and the government could cost the country over $100 billion, reported newspaper El Tiempo.

Since the peace talks began in Havana in November 2012, various state bodies have offered their estimations, never exceeding $44 billion.
