Remittances to Guatemala grow 8.4 percent

Remittances to Guatemala grew 8.4 percent from January to November this year, compared with the same period last year, the country's central bank said.
The figure represents $5.04 billion, compared with the $4.6 billion from the first 11 months of 2013.
This year, Guatemala is expecting to receive $5.4 billion, breaking last year's remittances record of $5.1 billion.
