Roaming fees disappear in the isthmus

Roaming fees are on the way out in Central America, as more and more people can speak or text free of charge when using their cellphones in neighboring countries.

Spain’s Movistar and Mexico’s Claro, the two big hitters in cellphone service for the region, are leading away, while others are following suit.
