Tahoe makes first shipment from Guatemala mine

Vancouver-based Tahoe Resources has started shipping silver concentrates to smelters from its Escobal silver project in Guatemala.
"We are shipping concentrate, we have agreements with smelters, so will be generating cash flow very soon," Brian Brodsky, vice president of exploration said.
But earlier this year, the Guatemalan government proposed a two-year moratorium on the sector in order to modify the mining law, which could affect the pending exploration and reconnaissance permits that Tahoe has requested.
