Tax perks spur Panama wind and solar power

Tax benefits from the construction of solar and wind power plants in Panama has led to applications for licenses to build green energy plants that would more than double the current demand in the country.

The granting of new licenses by the Public Services Authority has been temporarily suspended in order to carry out a study to determine how the system will integrate the new plants.
