Top Israeli construction firm probed in Guatemala

The offices in Guatemala of Shikun & Binui, Israel's leading construction company, have been raised as part of an inquiry into what is being described as "past activities".

Shikun said that the offices belong to its SBI Infrastructure subsidiary. Staff there are reported to be working as normal.

Early this year, four current or former employees of Shikun were arrested in Israel as suspects in connection with a bribery scandal, in Africa.
