Vitamin Shoppe opens first Costa Rican stores

Nutritional product maker The Vitamin Shoppe said Wednesday that it opened its first three stores in Costa Rica and opened two more franchise stores in Panama, as the company extends its footprint in Central America.

The franchise stores in Costa Rica will be operated by Vita Vida Limitada, an affiliate of The Vitamin Shoppe's franchise partner in Panama. Vita Vida and Vitamin Shoppe have been working for more than two years to register products for the Costa Rican market.
