Walmart has opened its cashiers in its stores in El Salvador for customers to pay basic services and some credit cards.
Customers are now able to pay their cable TV, electricity, phone and insurance bills, among others, in Walmart stores across the country, said Claudia Ibáñez, director of Corporate Affairs at Walmart El Salvador.
Another service the company offers at its cashiers is money transfer for remittances.
