Thursday, April 7, 2011
A deal with the Honduran government will fast-track the number of water filters being distributed through a local network of for-profit and nonprofit ventures.
Triple Quest, a partnership between Cascade Engineering and Dick DeVos’ Windquest Group investment fund, announced a $4.6 million effort to place 40,000 HydrAid BioSand filters in the Central American country over the next five years.
The units will be shipped to Honduras mostly through a U.S. Navy Handclasp program.
