China approves credit for Honduras's Patuca III

The Patuca III hydroelectric plant in Honduras is closer to completion after the Chinese government approved a $297-million credit with the Export-Import Bank of China.
The credit is to finance the second phase of the project, which includes the buildings for the dam's turbines and roads surrounding the project, among other smaller works.
The plant, in the eastern region of Olancho, will have an installed capacity of 100 Megawatts and an annual production of 326 Gigawatt hours.
